Dear Prospective Food Vendor,

Thank you for your interest in Coexistence 2007. Please complete this Coexistence Vendor/Exhibitor Application in its entirety with as much detail as possible to help the Coexistence Committee make its selections. The application form must be postmarked or dropped off at the New Brunswick City Market office, One Penn Plaza, New Brunswick, NJ 08901 or HaloJen Productions 55 Paterson Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901 no later than 5p.m. Friday, March 30, 2007 or it will not be considered.
The evaluation process in selecting a Coexistence vendor/exhibitor is competitive as we are looking for concessionaires that will add to the ambiance of the event theme and cultural diversity.

To ensure you have the best possible advantage in the selection process, please be very thorough and complete with your content and description. Applications that are not complete may not be fully considered for selection. The decision of the Coexistence Committee is final.

Please provide supporting materials with your application. Include detailed descriptions of the items to be sold and cost to assist in the evaluation and selection process. Every applicant is given equal consideration. Notification of status will be communicated the week of April 9, 2007. If not selected, checks will be returned within 15 business days.

DATE: Saturday, May 5, 2007 11am-6pm & Sunday, May 6, 2007 12pm-6pm (2 day participation preferred
PLACE: Downtown New Brunswick, George Street
BOOTH SPACE: Space allocated in 10’x10’ increments. Trash recepticles are supplied. Tents are provided for Food Vendors upon request. Spaces/tents are limited, apply early. Bring your own tables, chairs, etc. Everyone is responsible for setup and breakdown of their booth. The signed contract and full payment must be returned by March 31, 2007
FEE: Fee for a booth is $400 or $600 if significantly large space is required. In addition, Coexistence utilizes a ticket-based system for commerce at the festival. Food Vendor partnership proceeds are based on a 75% vendor/25% festival split to support the festival.
CANCELLATIONS: If you registered, and later learn that you will be unable to attend, you must inform us in writing no later than April 12, 2007. No refunds will be provided after acceptance notifications are sent out.
SPACE ASSIGNMENTS: Space assignments are decided by the Coexistence
committee and will be sent out by mail ten days
prior to the Coexistence Festival
RULES:
  • Submit 4 color photographs of your work, product or services
  • Submit one photo of your booth and signage
  • List and describe items to be sold and the retail price of each
  • Supply a written description of any demonstrations planned
  • Supply Information regarding usage of propane, fire for vending or crafting
  • Complete Vendor/Exhibitor application in full
  • Submit all applicable license/permit forms and documents – refer to the General Regulations sheet.

Please carefully review the contract, complete all applications, and return it by
March 30 with your fee
We reserve the right to enforce exclusivity of food products to stimulate high sales for all vendors.
All Vendors Licensed and Not Licensed with the City of New Brunswick MUST Complete the Appropriate Permit Applications and submit corresponding Fees.
 
If Food Handler vendor is not licensed with the City of New Brunswick you must also complete theOne-to Three-Day Food Handler’s License Application.
